Julie has dedicated her life’s work as a holistic bodywork and spa therapist, has over twenty three years professional experience and is passionate about Spa Design. Creator of Solace Organic Spa and Formulator of Solace Organic Spa Skincare & Aromatherapy Products since 1997. Certified Acupressure with the Canadian Acupressure Institute in 2001 (including Asian TCM, 5 Elements theory and Hakomi somatic counselling), Holistic Facial Specialist and trained Dr. Hauschka Aesthetician, Certified Deep Flow Massage and Holistic Bodywork, Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage, Certified Reflexologist, Certified Cupping and Gua Sha Facialist, C.M.P. Born and raised on Vancouver Island, with my adolescent years spent right here in Shawnigan Lake, I then completed a B.Sc (Hons) in biology and chemistry with a focus in genetics at the University of Texas. Before attending the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, I worked for two years as a compounding pharmacy technician in both Canada and the United States. With the knowledge and experience in conventional and naturopathic medicine, I will help you and your family reach your health goals by focusing on practical steps and proven strategies.
